A blast from the past!

29th Nov 2017

If you went to our school in the late seventies you may remember a young Laurence Graham, with plenty of hair, sitting among you and your friends in the same hall that he took pride of place in today!
He was returning to his school roughly forty years later, this time as the President of the Methodist Church in Ireland!
A life that took him to Dalriada, work in agriculture and into the ministry came full circle today as he addressed the children with warmth and humour and got a tour round the school to bring memories flooding back!
The children listened impeccably as he reinforced the school motto of, 'Together we shape our future' and reflected on how much he had enjoyed his time here and in particular the impact a Mr French had on him as a young man. He had even dug out his old primary school picture!
Thank you so much for coming back today and sharing your story Laurence!
