The budding story writers of Primary Two were delighted when they recently won a very special treat for their class in the form of a storytelling visit by the Titanic Centre Education Team. With great anticipation  they warmly welcomed guests Siobhan and Laura who arrived with their arms full of all kinds of exciting story props. From ice cubes to blankets , the children had a multi-sensory experience as the story unravelled, with the best part perhaps being a snuggle with the  fluffy white star of the show, 'My Friend Bear!'

The children listened to and participated in the session with great focus; their love of words and stories bubbling throughout! Their visitors also enjoyed the experience and were delighted to be serenaded with a farewell song as they left. As a memento of the visit a little sailor bear and another Titanic story now take pride of place in the story corner.

A day to be remembered with lovely exchange of words, creative ideas and inspiration in Primary Two!
