Exploring the World of Coding with Micro:bits
Over the past six weeks, our Primary 7 children have embarked on an exciting journey into the world of coding through the "First Lessons with MakeCode and the micro:bit" course. This engaging programme introduced them to fundamental computing concepts and hands-on projects, sparking their creativity and problem-solving skills.
From creating personalised name badges to designing interactive games like rock, paper, scissors, they have learnt to write code, debug programmes, and understand the importance of algorithms and sequences. The lessons also covered essential topics such as inputs, outputs, and using sensors to build practical projects like step counters and nightlights.
