Such is the interest in football from our girls, we entered 2 teams into the annual indoor 6-a-side tournament held at Score. Our A team comfortably made it into the quarterfinals after winning two and losing one group match. They were then beaten 1-0 by eventual champions Millstrand, after a game that could have gone either way. The girls from both Portrush schools are used to playing in the same Portrush FC team adding to the pressure of earning bragging rights! Well done to Millstrand.
Our B team won one match against Millburn however were narrowly beaten in the other two games 1-0 and 2-1. All players should be very proud of their effort and attitude throughout the tournament! Well done ⚽️
