A team of our girls had a great time earlier at the SCORE Football Cup in Coleraine. We played 3 group matches drawing twice against St John’s and St Brigid’s and winning one against Portstewart Primary. Unfortunately we finished 3rd in our group on goal difference so didn’t progress into the quarterfinals. The two teams who we drew against reached the semifinals so we can’t be too disappointed. The girls were also fortunate to get their photo taken with local girl and Northern Irish International Lauren Wade. She was invited along to launch her own tournament called The Lauren Wade Cup that our girls will be competing for in May. It is the girls own version of the Doherty Cup! We’re looking forward to it!
