🌍✨ Primary 7’s Cultural Adventure with St. Patrick’s Primary! ✨🌍
Today, our Primary 7 pupils had an amazing time joining St. Patrick’s Primary at a special community event hosted by the Building Communities Resource Centre. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn, share, and celebrate different cultures together!
The highlight of the day was an inspiring presentation by Yuliia Zolotukhina, who originally comes from Ukraine. Yuliia shared stories about life in Ukraine, what life is like there, and the traditions she grew up with before moving to Northern Ireland. The children were fascinated to learn about her culture and asked lots of brilliant questions!
And of course, no cultural experience is complete without food! 🍽️ The pupils had the chance to sample a delicious selection of traditional Ukrainian dishes – some flavours were new, some were familiar, but all were enjoyed!
A huge thank you to Yuliia and the team at the Building Communities Resource Centre for hosting the event. It was wonderful to see our pupils learning together, making connections, and embracing new cultures.
