Remembrance Day 2018

Thank you to pupils from P7 and P2 who laid a school wreath at the War Memorial in Portrush this morning. P4 pupils completed a mini topic this week all about Poppy Day creating fantastic factual pieces of writing and painting pretty poppy fields inspired by Van Gogh. They also decorated stones for the memorial display created by Portrush Rocks. Everyone enjoyed learning all about the importance of this event and the facts surrounding it. We will be exploring WW2 further later in the year too.
